Cookie Policy

1.What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. The Company also uses similar technologies: pixels (small pieces of code in web pages and emails), browser local storage, and SDKs in mobile apps. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to all of them. They help the Platforms work properly, stay secure, remember your preferences, measure usage and show relevant advertising.

2.How We Use Cookies

We use first-party cookies, set by the Company, and third-party cookies, set by the providers that help us operate the Platforms. We use them for:

• Operation and security: hosting, protection against malicious traffic, forms, chat and the student area.
• Consent management: remembering your cookie preferences.
• Analytics: understanding how the Platforms are used.
• Advertising: showing you relevant ads on social media, search engines and other websites, including retargeting (ads shown to people who have already visited the Platforms), and measuring the results of our campaigns.
• Email: knowing whether you opened our emails or clicked on their links.

Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent where required by law. The table in Section 3 lists each cookie, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts.

3.Types of Cookies

• Necessary: essential for the Platforms to work. They are always active.
• Functional: enable additional features, such as videos or content sharing.
• Analytics: help us understand how the Platforms are used.
• Performance: measure speed and performance.
• Advertising: show relevant ads, enable retargeting and measure our campaigns.

The following list is generated and updated automatically with each scan and shows the cookies of the site you are visiting:

4.NEU App

In the NEU app, we use similar technologies (SDKs) for operation, analytics and, where applicable, advertising. We will ask for your permission within the app when required by law or by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), and you can change it at any time in the app settings or your device settings.

5.Visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Other Regions with Similar Laws

You will see a cookie banner. We only use necessary cookies until you accept other categories. You can accept, reject or choose by category, and change your decision at any time. This reflects the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, the UK GDPR and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

6.U.S. Residents (Including California)

Certain advertising cookies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). You can opt out using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser.

7.How to Manage Your Cookies

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using this button:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings:

If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the Platforms may not work properly.

8.Changes to This Policy

The Company may update this Policy when it adopts new tools or when applicable law changes. The "Last updated" date indicates the current version.
